Flor De Mi Pueblo Cigar blends are crafted by “Master Blender,†Juan Santiago Reyes Peralta.
From the age of ten, Juan was devoted to working the tobacco fields in Esteli, Nicaragua with his older brother Trino Reyes where he began learning the art of tobacco cultivation and farming. In 1986, Juan’s hard work in the field, and in school, was recognized and he received a scholarship to study the production and manufacturing of tobacco in the Republic of Cuba. Juan returned to Esteli from Cuba with a wealth of knowledge and earned the title of Master Blender. He worked for many factories as a Master Blender and helped them earn international recognition for his unique blends.
In 2008, Juan opened his own factory in Esteli, Nicaragua, and began to manufacture his own cigar- Flor De Mi Pueblo. In 2012 his nephew Luis J Chavarria, Came into the business only having a background in business management and no experience in the Premium Cigar industry they rebuild the brand and Flor De Mi Pueblo is now gaining international recognition and currently exports his cigar to the U.S., Europe, and China.
